| This pup is a dilute brown (sometimes referred to as Lilac in the Border Collie breed and Fawn in the Kelpie breed) with a tan point pattern. |

| This color occurs when brown has been acted upon by the dilution gene. It is sometimes confused with just being a diluted black (blue) color. The easiest way to tell is to look at the color of the nose. The nose leather, eye rims and lips are a rosey-gray in this color and is never gray. |
