DILUTE BROWN
b^b d^d - Lilac
This pup is a dilute brown (sometimes
referred to as Lilac in the Border Collie
breed and Fawn in the Kelpie breed) with a
tan point pattern.
THESE ARE WORKING KELPIE PUPS,
THEY WERE USED AS I DO NOT HAVE
ANY PICTURES OF GERMAN COOLIES
IN THIS COLORATION.
This color occurs when brown has been acted upon by the dilution gene.  It is sometimes confused with
just being a diluted black (blue) color.  The easiest way to tell is to look at the color of the nose.  The
nose leather, eye rims and lips are a rosey-gray in this color and is never gray.
