TOOLALLA C/KOOLIES

This kennel is located in Australia and is actually owned by Richmond Hough, although; Tabitha
Parker reports that it's her kennel and her dogs.  Ms. Parker does not own any Coolies, but her
husband/paramour does own a Beagle.

The reason for this page is to explain some of the things that Ms. Parker has been posting on her
dog forum.  We have nothing to hide, and would like the opportunity for folks to hear our side of
the story.  We have no idea why she has chosen us to berate.  I understand, from other Coolie
owners, that I am not the only Coolie owner/breeder that she has focused in on and verbally
attacked.

I am sure that as soon as she reads this - this page, along with several of my pictures, and old
posts that she has changed to read as she wants, will end up on her forum as the main point of
discussion.

You will find on her forum that:

  • She says -- Zoo is a German Shepherd.  This is hilarious,
because it's so far from the truth.  I can only assume she
says this because she is not familiar with the GSD
characteristics/behavior or coat color genetics and is judging
Zoo by color.  Zoo is a saddle pattern and is 35 pounds,
soaking wet.  She has impeccable work ethics and is a
proven producer of dogs that work cattle.  Her puppies are in
demand because of this and her planned next litter already
has a waiting list.  Zoo was imported.

  • She says -- Mac was over priced > and was never sold,
because he stayed here for training.  She stated on her
forum that she thinks, he was never *actually* sold that the
entire thing was made up.  Mac has been sold to Ralph
Martinez and now resides on a working cattle ranch in Los
Alamos, New Mexico.  Ralph and I met at the Groom feedlot
and Thom Childress showed Mac on feedlot cattle.  Mac was
actually underpriced at $1500.00 according to the going rate
of started cattle dogs.  I can only assume she is judging his
price at what her step-father asks for his dogs, which are
between $250.00 to $300.00, or FREE.  Mac also has a lifetime
guarantee, and Ralph is invited to come back to the feedlot at
any time to work him, or for any 'fine tuning' that he may
    have/need.

  • She says -- Sophia, Tanner, Shake, Mac and Toy are cross
bred with Kelpies, because they are a solid color (not
merle).  She says this, because Ms. Parker is under the
impression that the Coolie breed in an entirely merle breed.
This is genetically impossible.  Toolalla only breeds merle to
merle and kills all of the solid colored and double merle
puppies.  She reports that Toolalla has not produced solid or
double merles in 6 years; anyone familiar with merle to
merle breeding knows this is impossible.

  • She says -- Oscar is substandard because he's a double
merle.  Even though he has perfect hearing and perfect
vision, she finds fault with him.  This is because, again, she
has no knowledge in genetics and has never seen him in
person.  Oscar is a rough coat, therefore; he will not sunburn
as she reports on her forum.  He has dark pigment around
his eyes, on his nose, anus and sheath, therefore; not only
will he not sunburn, there is no chance of cancer.  She
shouts that he will produce deaf and blind puppies.  This is
not correct, because *if* he is used for stud, he will be bred
only to solid colored females.  All of the puppies in the litter
will be merle/carrying non-merle.  There will be no solids or
double merles in the litter.  Since his color is due to being
homozygous merle, all puppies that he produces will not be
white factored, nor will they be homozygous or double
merles, therefore; there is NO chance of color related
deafness or blindness.  And, because he isn't white factored
this drops the chances of color related impairment to zero.
Oscar has been started on sheep and is showing natural
ability, balance and desire.  Oscar is built and looks alot like
Toolalla Frank, which is a rough coat, black merle.

  • She says -- that *everyone* that has purchased a Coolie
from us is not satisfied.  Interesting that she knows and has
contact numbers for every single person that I've ever sold a
dog to.  I can and will provide references upon request that
    will invalidate this ridiculous statement.

  • Ms. Parker has taken many posts from her forum and private
email's that were authored by other people, changed the
wording to reflect negativity about our dogs and then posted
them on her forum.  She has removed the "edit" function
from her forum so that these posts can not therefore be
edited by the original authors.  I'm sure that function will be
resumed as soon as she reads this.  The majority of the
members have left and formed a more friendlier forum.  And
the remainder of the members, some are actually really
Tabitha signed in as someone else.

We imported our Coolies in August of 2004 from the
Beretta Coolie Stud in Australia.

There has been some discussion on the Toolalla dog forum (Australian
dog forum) from Tabitha Parker stating that this is an unknown stud
(kennel), because she has never heard of them.  I'm not familiar with
Australia, but I assume that she knows every single person in the entire
country of Australia by her comments.  Either Australia is a small country,
or Ms. Parker gets around, alot.

Ms. Parker is absolutely, positively, obsessed with me, my breeding
practices and my dogs because every time I put a new picture on my
website, she pirates the picture, puts it on her forum and then proceeds to
find anything and everything wrong with that dog.  I have to admit that this
has given me tons of free advertisement, for which I am grateful (thanks
Tabitha).  We have made many new friends and customers because of her
forum and her continual obsession with our dogs.
We stand behind our dogs, 100%.  All of our dogs are guaranteed for life.
We will replace any dog that fails to show working desire by the time the
dog is 18 months old,
provided the dog was given the chance to work
and was not abused or neglected.
We invite anyone to visit with us and see our dogs.
Our dogs are working dogs, they don't lay around on silk pillows,

they get muddy, they go swimming, they roll in manure ---
they are dogs, well-adjusted, non-aggressive, happy, friendly dogs.
This was posted sometime back in 2007,
Toolalla breeding practices may not reflect in 2011 as
they did back in 2007.  I felt I had to post this information,
because there are 2 sides to every story.
