The coloration of Eclyse indicates, as in reference
to dog coat color, that the zebra stripes is
comparable to the brindling pattern. The zebra
stripes, like the brindling, is only apparent in the
sable color. The white, as in dog coat color,
masks the other colors. In other words, the zebra
stripes are still there -- it's just hidden by the
white.

| Zorse 'Eclyse', a zebra-horse hybrid foal is pictured in the Safari park in Holte-Stukenbrock near the western German city of Bielefeld June 27, 2007.
